Peculiar Families Festival and General Meeting of Circostrada network in Split

For its fourth edition, Peculiar Families Festival will host the General Assembly of Circostrada network, in addition to a rich programme with several French productions and coproductions.

Supported by the collective ROOM 100 (Split, Croatia), and in close collaboration with Cirkorama (Zagreb, Croatia) and Cirkusfera (Belgrade, Serbia), the contemporary circus festival Peculiar Families will this year welcome more than forty artists from eight different countries, including France. The LPM company and its three jugglers will present their show „Piti Peta Hofen Show“, Noémie Deumie, Natacha Kierbel and Thalia Pigier will present the result of their residency „Circus Without Circus“, while the collaborative project „DUEL“ (Cie Un loup pour l’homme, Cirkorama, Cirkusfera) will close the festival.

Furthermore, the Annual General Assembly of the Circostrada network, the European network for contemporary circus and outdoor arts coordinated by Artcena (Paris, France) will also take place within the framework of the festival, from 19 to 22 April. This major event provides its members with an opportunity to gather and exchange on strategic orientations, as well as to get an overview of the local artistic and cultural context.
