Contemporary circus : 11th edition of CirkoBalkana Festival
After its 11th edition in Zagreb in June, the contemporary circus festival CirkoBalkana and its circus tent are coming to Belgrade.
Organised by Cirkorama (Zagreb) and Cirkusfera (Belgrade), CirkoBalkana is this year hosting several shows based on a single circus technique, with the aim of highlighting the diversity of individual performance in the contemporary circus.

In partnership with the French circus school Turbul’, the festival will also be organising a series of flying trapeze workshops for professionals and amateurs over several days.
The festival CirkoBalkana is supported through Teatroskop « Artistic Cooperation and Networking Grants » 2023, the touring of „Ofrenda“ by Circo Nagual and the touring of „To Be(ech)“ by Cie Iéto are supported through Teatroskop « Touring and Capacity Building Grants » 2023.
