Flying trapeze workshop with French circus school Turbul’
In cooperation with French circus school Turbul’ and the association Appel d’air, the Wizard’s Hat Association (Čarobnjakov šešir Association) in Pula and the CircoBalkana Festival in Zagreb and Belgrade will organise a series of flying trapeze workshops over several days, for both professionals circus artists, hobbyists and interested citizens.
The project, which was first successfully hosted in 2017, and again in 2022, will develop and strengthen the main techniques of flying trapeze, with the aim of democratising the practice and establishing it in a sustainable way in the region.
The workshops will be led by a team of high-level trapeze artists, including Ludovico Dacosta. On 14 June, in Zagreb, a flying trapeze performance will open the CirkoBalkana Festival.
The project is supported through Teatroskop « Artistic Cooperation and Networking Grants » 2023.
